Nam Prik Num (Traditional Thai chili paste)
I won’t make this post so long since it’s a very simple dish to cook 🙂
Don’t feel taken aback by the word chili because this dish isn’t all that spicy!
Using only simple ingredients and easy cooking method and it’s all good to go!
Ingredients are long green chilies, shallots and garlic – grilled them or roasted in the oven until skin turns dark brown with nice aroma.
Then using mortar and pestle to mix them all together. Add just salt (or if you love soy sauce, add it!) to taste
Serve with raw or boiled vegetables of your choice. Good healthy food indeed!
Tips : First crush garlic and shallots first, after they mix well together, add chilies.
